In-person classes on Aug. 14, remained suspended in several areas due to prevailing heavy rainfall brought by habagat.

The same Olongapo bridges previously reached their spilling level earlier this week that caused flooding in many areas in the city.

For many Filipino households, the savings that could help them recover from a disaster may already be dwindling.

However, Pagasa noted that the La Mesa dam’s current water level is still below the overflow elevation of 80.15 m.
