Minimum wage hike in Central Visayas now in effect

MANILA, Philippines—The daily minimum wage increase of P42 for workers in Central Visayas takes effect on Wednesday, Oct. 14, according to the Department of Labor and Employment. Under Wage Order No. ROVII-27, the increase raises the daily minimum wage to P582 in Class A cities and municipalities and P542 in Class B cities and municipalities
