
MARAWI CITY – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has proclaimed the winners of five of nine parliamentary district seats in Lanao del Sur.
Atty. Mohammad Nabil Mutia, Comelec provincial election supervisor, identified the winners as follows:

2nd District Rep – Hamza Gauraki (UBJP)
4th District Rep – Lampa I Pandi (UBJP)
6th District Rep – Hosni Macapodi (SIAP)
7th District Rep – Rayyan Mindalano (SIAP)
8th District Rep – Ahmad Amir “Arrie” Balindong (UBJP)
Mutia, chair of the Provincial Board of Canvassers, said they will reconvene at 10 a.m. on Tuesday to proclaim the four remaining district representative winners.
He lauded the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, and the local government units for the collaborative efforts to ensure the peaceful conduct of the historic Bangsamoro parliamentary elections in Lanao del Sur.
Brig. Gen. Jessie Montoya, commander of the 103rd Infantry “Haribon” Brigade here, said the deployment of augmentation forces from the 1st Infantry ” Tabak” Division, headed by Major General Yegor Rey Barroquillo Jr., was instrumental in securing the conduct of the polling in the province./coa
