MANILA, Philippines — Former Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis “Chavit” Singson was arrested on Thursday afternoon over a cyberlibel case, according to a police report obtained by Inquirer. Singson was arrested in a gated village in Barangay Ugong Norte, Quezon City, the police report said. The report did not immediately indicate whether Singson had posted bail.
