Four men have been charged after a viral video showed a motorcycle towing a cement-mixing tub carrying a passenger through floodwater on Thoet Rachan Road in Don Mueang, Bangkok.
The clip came to public attention when it was shared by the Facebook page อยากดังเดี๋ยวจัดให้ รีเทริน์ part7 on September 29.
The video shows a motorcycle pulling the tub along the flooded road in Si Kan subdistrict. The post was captioned, “So much fun… basin boat”, while the video included the hashtags #DonMueangGoodLifeDoneRight, #DonMueangHasASeaToo, #fyp and #DonMueang.

By about 4pm, investigators from Don Mueang Police Station had traced the footage to a TikTok account that had posted the incident and identified four men involved.
They were 22 year old Anuchit, who was sitting in the cement tub; 23 year old Anon, who rode a motorcycle while filming; 22 year old Amphol, who recorded the footage; and 22 year old Sarawut, who rode the motorcycle towing the tub.
Police asked all four to report to the station for questioning.
Officers warned the group that the stunt was inappropriate given the flood situation and could have caused problems for other road users if something had gone wrong.
The four men admitted they had carried out the stunt impulsively and said they had not expected it to become a major issue.
They told police they initially began towing the cement tub from Soi Thoet Rachan 45 after taking a tub that had been left in the alley.
Because the floodwater there was too shallow, they decided to move onto Thoet Rachan Road, where they drove around only once while filming the clip.
The group apologised for causing concern and said they would not repeat the stunt.
Police charged the four men with causing a public nuisance, driving without regard for the safety of other people’s lives or bodies, and driving in a negligent or dangerous manner.
They were due to be taken to Don Mueang District Court on September 30.
