Orlando Pirates will have to overcome Orbit College this weekend if they are to win the Betway Premiership.
The Buccaneers travel to Mbombela Stadium to face Orbit in a league match on Saturday.
A win will see them crowned champions for the first time in 14 years but defeat or a draw will see them hand the title to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Kickoff for the sold-out affair is 15:00 and the match will be televised on SABC 1 and SuperSport channels.
How will Pirates lineup against Orbit?
The Buccaneers were held to a goalless draw against Durban City at the Orlando Amstel Arena this past weekend.
Expect Abdeslam Ouaddou to make key changes as he looks to go all attack in Mbombela.
Here’s the predicted Pirates lineup:
Sipho Chaine (GK)
Chaine has kept 20 clean sheets and could extend his record this Saturday. The 29-year-old keeper has remained solid this season and is a favourite to win Goalkeeper of the Season.
Kamohelo Sebelebele (RB)
Mike Mamosha has been a key figure since joining the Buccaneers. Against Orbits, Sebelebele will give Orlando Pirates more attacking options and will mostly play as a winger.
Lebone Seema (CB)
Seema has been one of the best perfoming defenders this season and is unlucky to have not gotten the Bafana Bafana call-up.
Nkosinathi Sibisi (CB)
Bhodlela has had a love/hate relationship with fans this season. He has been solid at times but his mistakes have cost the Buccaneers a few points. He will captain the side on Saturday and could lift the trophy should his side beat Orbit College.
Deon Hotto (LB)
Pirates will need Hooto’s energy on the left flank against Orit. At 36, the Namibian attacker is still one of the fastest players in the Bucs team.
Thalente Mbatha (CM)
Mbatha could play as a defensive midfielder on Saturday as the team looks to go for broke. He might revert to his position should Pirates score a few goals.
Pirates chasing Orbit
Masindi Nemtajela (AM)
If fit, Nemtajela will play in the midfield alongside Mbatha. He has been impressive since joining the Buccaneers although he lacked consistency especially in big games.
Relebohile Mofokeng (AM)
Rele will return to the number 10 role for the final match and will probably play as a second striker for much of the game.
He hasn’t found the back of the net in five games and will be eager to be on the scoresheet.
Oswin Appollis (RW)
For the second match in a row, Appollis will play on the right wing. If the Buccaneers don’t find an early goal, he will switch sides and try to unsettle the Orbit defence.
Tshepang Moremi (LW)
The speedy winger came on against Durban City but hardly made an impact in the second half. If Pirates are to win the league, Moremi will have to start on the left against Orbit and create havoc.
Evidence Makgopa (FW)
Ngwana sesi’s height will be a factor at Mbomebla. Having failed to score or convert their 19 corners in their previous matches, perhaps having Makgopa might be an advantage.
