A dream home, a Springbok wedding, and Zozibini Tunzi lead a star-studded first episode as Top Billing returns to screens.

For many South Africans, Top Billing was more than just a TV show. It offered a glimpse into aspirational lifestyles, local excellence, and inspiring stories. Now, after a six-year hiatus, it is finally making its return.
The iconic lifestyle show is back on screens this Thursday, 30 April 2026, at 7 PM on S3 (formerly SABC 3).
In a social media teaser shared on Tuesday, 28 April, the show promised a blockbuster premiere packed with seven unforgettable stories and a major announcement.
The debut episode features a star-studded lineup, including the wedding of former Springbok rugby player Jaco Kriel and Nastassja Ras, who stuns in a Diaan Daniels couture gown.
Viewers can also expect an intimate sit-down with celebrity couple Tino Chinyani and Simphiwe Ngema, who open up about balancing fame and family.
Adding a touch of nostalgia, the episode also tours a spectacular dream home built by a couple inspired by watching the show as teenagers.

The relaunch introduces a fresh lineup of four presenters joining the Top Billing family, including Zozibini Tunzi, Bryoni Govender, Arno Greeff and Sinemivuyo Mpulu.
While the show welcomes new talent, several fan favourites will also return to anchor the comeback season, including Basetsana Kumalo, Dr Michael Mol, Dr Fezile Mkhize, Jonathan Boynton-Lee and Ryle De Morny.
The 27-year-old production was cancelled by the SABC in 2019 due to high production costs. Its return reflects a renewed commitment to premium local lifestyle content, at a time when audiences are increasingly embracing proudly South African stories.
