Tammy and Drew are the definite anchors of the group. The couple has been together since college. Tammy, a veterinary technician, worked a traditional corporate job, with their roles at home as something being talked about. The show would also be exploring the faith conflict, as her major source of tension is her internal conflict between her religious faith and her adult career.

Macy and her husband Jim represent the terror of exposure. To their neighbourhood community, Jim is a day trader while Macy appears as a stay-at-home mom. Their story is tied to money as Jim talks about how entering into adult content helps them walk away with good money.

Emily and Nathan approach their secret business as a highly organised small business. Nathan works a traditional job as a drugstore manager, juggling side hustles. Their story is a ‘built together’ one, with the struggle being purely logistical.

Brianna and Phillip are reportedly the wealthiest couple of the show who carry the raw, real-world scars from their online business. Brianna, a former teacher, started an OnlyFans side hustle. When her school district discovered her online career, she was placed on leave and ultimately resigned.

While the business settles their financial instability, their marital relationship is at stake because of it. This thus is not just about a ‘secret life’ apparently.

Megan and Tyler, who offer a complex storyline, focus on surviving financial struggle, public shaming and broken friendships. Megan, also a former teacher, faced extreme poverty before entering the world of online career. Megan’s secret was also exposed when it was discovered by her school district.

Their story also explores the idea of ‘outcast’ with the job loss; thus, her career is not just about a glamorous income but survival. 

Heather and Shawn, married for about 2 decades, live with Shawn’s mother along with their children. Their lives feel like a TV set-up with a major fear of exposure. They go a long way to avoid detection by the family. Only the show would tell what really happens if the family find out.

With a Reality show premiering, it is almost impossible that X (formerly Twitter) remains quiet. 

@Marcell98158654 reacted to the premiere with a mixture of disbelief and fascination, pointing out the contrast between the women’s suburban routines, church-going lives, professional backgrounds and their hidden careers.

While @jenjihere had a toned-down, amused response. Their question in the post is whether the show was scripted and raised concerns about the children involved, arguing that putting their parents’ private lives on national television could potentially give other kids material to use against them at school.
