LPA outside PAR likely to develop into tropical depression

MANILA, Philippines – The low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) has a high chance” of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours, Pagasa said Tuesday. The assessment was based on Pagasa’s 24-hour tropical cyclone formation outlook issued at 10 a.m., using conditions observed as of 8 a.m.
