CEBU CITY, Philippines — A 37-year-old suspect identified as the stepfather of a two-year-old boy who died after being found unresponsive inside their rented room in Barangay Tisa, Cebu City, denied beating the child, as the boy’s family said it would pursue a murder case against him. Police arrested alias “Lyle” at around 9:30 p.m.
