Synopsis
Professor Rong Shu (Sylvia), a modern medical expert, transmigrates into the body of a expendable character in ancient times. After arriving in the past, she abandons her love-obsessed ways, beats up scumbags, and relies on her medical skills, cooking talent, and younger brother Rong Lang to build a stable life.
She becomes neighbors with Wei Yan, the commander of the Imperial Guards, who hides his identity under the alias “Wei Jianli.” Moved by Rong Shu’s honesty and kindness, Wei Yan (Voss) quietly protects her from the shadows.
At the same time, Rong Shu befriends the loyal courtesan Fang Susu, takes in a retired War Prince who has withdrawn from the martial world, and shelters Sisi, the lost young lady of a marquis household. Together, they form a warm and healing little family amid the lively streets and everyday life.
As they spend their days surrounded by the warmth of ordinary life, Rong Shu and Wei Yan weather countless storms, grow closer through mutual devotion, and eventually find their happy ending when she marries into the Imperial Guards.
