Zhang Xiaomai (Maita) travels to the city with her adoptive mother, Ma Xiuyu, to visit her younger sister, Zhang Xiaobei (Bella), only to uncover a shocking deception. Using the jade pendant Xiaomai always carried, Zhang Xiaobei has stolen her identity and been living a luxurious life as the daughter of a wealthy family.
Meanwhile, Xiaomai works at a hotel under the Gu Group, where she faces constant bullying and suppression from her supervisor, Zhu Liang. Despite the hardships, her sincerity and talent earn the admiration of Gu Junze (Jada Green) and Chairman Shen. As the truth gradually comes to light, Ma Xiuyu exposes Zhang Xiaobei’s lies in front of everyone. Zhang Xiaobei is ultimately punished for her schemes, while Zhang Xiaomai finally finds both justice and love, ending up together with Gu Junze.
