Springbok WAG Saskia Snyman has shared the heartwarming moment she revealed her pregnancy to her husband, RG Snyman. The couple announced news that they were expecting their first child this week.
RG – who is nicknamed “The Viking” – currently plays for Irish club Leinster.
The towering lock married his teen sweetheart in 2019.
SASKIA SHARES VIDEO OF PREGNANCY REVEAL TO RG SNYMAN
In an Instagram post, RG Snyman’s wife shared a peek at her pregnancy reveal to her husband.
In the clip, the couple are seen relaxing in bed with their dogs. Saskia, an MBA graduate, showed her husband her positive pregnancy test.
RG became visibly emotional, embracing his wife in the heartwarming moment. She captioned the sweet post: “Who you choose to marry is the most important decision you’ll ever make”.
BORN ABROAD?
In another post, Saskia revealed that they had their pregnancy shoot in Stellenbosch, in the Western Cape. The professional shot was themed on RG Snyman’s love of vintage cars.
“He’s a man of many hobbies, and his most recent hobby is old cars”, Saskia.
RG and his wife are currently in South Africa following his recent ACL injury at the Irish club, Leinster.
Although out of play, and with an expecting wife, RG will return to Ireland after it was confirmed that he will remain in the club for the next season.
RG Snyman – nicknamed the “Viking” – moved to Ireland in 2020 when he signed with Munster. In 2024, the tallest Springbok signed with the rival Irish club of Leinster. He has been living abroad for more than 5 years, making him eligible for residency.
However, the Springbok has declined the offer.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, RG Snyman says he signed to Leinster as his family were “settled” in the country.
“I’m enjoying the culture in Ireland and the people… that’s why we really wanted to stay”, he said.
