Qin An’an, driven by the need to save her critically ill father and a company on the brink of bankruptcy, is forced into a marriage with Fu Shiting, a powerful CEO who has become a vegetative patient after an accident. On the very day of the wedding, her boyfriend Fu Yechen—who had promised to elope with her—fails to show up. Worse still, she catches him in a secret rendezvous with her stepsister. Heartbroken and betrayed, Qin An’an walks down the aisle alone, entering a wedding without a groom.
On their wedding night, she finally meets her husband, lying motionless in bed. Fu Yechen then approaches her with false concern, attempting to manipulate her into helping him seize the Fu family’s fortune. Just as his scheme unfolds, the supposedly unconscious Fu Shiting suddenly opens his eyes…
