Lian Jiahai is accidentally shot in one eye by Lv Xinkai. He misses his date and loses his lover, Wang Xiuyi. But this accident, with one eye lost, buys a lifetime of happiness for his daughter Lian Jie.
Years later, Lian Jiahai reunites with Wang Xiuyi. Old feelings rekindle, but they are unexpectedly drawn into a murder case. The truth—covered up by a group of people—is deeply connected to the mysterious and dangerous Wang Xiuyi.
